Slated to be an up-and-coming waterfront community, Belleville is a historical town overgoing a new transformation. Porta is set to be one of the city’s newest waterfront developments that will inject modern architecture with sky sweeping views.
Set on Belleville’s main port, the towers possess a modern language that is translated into the interiors. With a prevalent focus on the waterfront views, the interiors of the suites and the amenity spaces were designed to take full vantage points of the water, with volumes and tones offering a calm and distinct ambiance.
Conceptually, the design is inspired by the shapes and light play created by the sails of sailboats. This is translated into volumetric and sculptural forms in the Social Spaces and Fitness Areas that offer glimpses of the exterior with the interior.
