With a degree in Interior Design from Eina, University of Design + Art (Barcelona) 1999, Marisa opened her first design studio in Barcelona in the same graduating year and commenced her design career by working on various exclusive residential + retail projects.
Marisa's work is driven by functionality and aesthetics, based on quality and detail, her projects are functional, attractive, innovative + unique.
She has a reputable design career with global experience in Europe, Asia and North America which led her to launch a design studio in China for over 8 years which allowed her to develop the skills and knowledge required to create successful, functional, + aesthetically pleasing spaces.
Marisa has worked on prominent and global accounts such as: Barcelona Airport T1, Sennheiser, Torres Wines, Ogilvy + Mather to name a few.
Marisa has over 21 years of experience helping clients meet their needs and objectives by creating meaningful and beautiful interiors. As the Design Director of MAPA Marisa brings extensive a+ critical knowledge to the team which aides in the development of successful commercial + residential interiors.
